SAGE Engineering is a New York–based, multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm specializing in engineering design, site safety services, environmental compliance, and construction consulting. As a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in both New York State and City, we proudly serve public and private sector clients across a wide range of project types and regulatory needs.

With a proven track record of over 3,000 successfully completed projects, SAGE brings unmatched experience and deep technical expertise to every engagement. Our team is actively involved in Façade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) compliance under Local Law 11, parking structure inspections under Local Law 126, and other critical services that ensure full alignment with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) and environmental regulations.

Our licensed Professional Engineers, Registered Architects, Site Safety Managers, and Environmental Scientists work collaboratively to deliver precision, compliance, and project efficiency at every stage—from planning and permitting to inspections and closeout.

Sandeep Gunnala, P.E., is the founder and visionary force behind SAGE Engineering. With over 20 years of experience in civil engineering, construction safety, and regulatory consulting, he has built a reputation for technical excellence, strategic leadership, and uncompromising standards. He holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from NYU and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York.

In 2022, driven by his passion for engineering and a desire to raise industry standards, Sandeep launched SAGE Engineering as a one-person firm. Through dedication, vision, and trust, he has grown it into a thriving company of 30+ professionals and contractors, delivering more than 3,000 successful projects across New York and beyond.

Sandeep’s expertise spans Local Law 11 façade inspections, Local Law 126 parking structure assessments, DOB permitting, demolition engineering, site safety management, and special inspections. He has played a key role in securing critical city approvals, resolving violations, mentoring safety professionals, and advising contractors and agencies on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

Beyond his technical leadership, Sandeep is deeply committed to the growth and well-being of his team.
